To UNC, U of A, and Northeastern U. nursing students or recent graduates

hi, i'm visiting the campuses of all three of these campuses and would love to meet you (and buy you breakfast, lunch, dinner, or coffee to boot)! :monkeydance:if i apply to these programs, it will be for entrance into the bsn program as a transfer student for fall 2007. as often the most beneficial information is from nursing students or recent grads themselves, your opinion and experience about the school is very valuable to me!!:bowingpur

unc students/recent grads- i will be flying into the durham/raleigh airport at 5:30 pm sunday, june 11th, to visit unc-chapel hill. i will be in the area until 2:30 pm wednesday, june 14th. the only commitment i have during this time is a campus tour scheduled for 2:30 pm on monday, june 12th.

northeastern students/recent grads- i will be arriving in boston late wednesday night, june 14th (around 11 pm). i will be in boston until 7 p.m. on saturday, june 17th. i am free to meet you anytime.:cheers:

university of arizona students/recent grads- i will be arriving in tucson 1:15 a.m., the morning of sunday, june 18th. i will be in tucson until 4:30 p.m., wednesday, june 21st. the only commitment i have during this time is a campus tour scheduled for 10 am on monday, may 19th.

Hi Sherri.. I wanted to go to Northeastern but I couldnt get into the nursing program.. I only got in under health science. Im thinking about just getting my associates degree first then transferring to Northeastern to get my bachelors. They have an aweosme program there. Did you get your associates?

Hi Wackyj,

I already have a Bachelors degree, but have been going to a community college the last several years to get the prereqs needed to transfer into the program. I think the co-op program for nursing especially is so cool, because then you can try out different areas of the hospital without being stuck in the area for a few years if you don't like it.

Hi Wackyj2000. No I don't have my Bachelors in Nursing yet. I had my previous Bachelors in Psych and Spanish. Lots of school (and money!) to get a third Bachelors, isn't it?
