To our future nurses,
There will be times that you will laugh. There will be times when you will cry in tears. There may be times you might collapse in stress from all the studying. There may be days you think you want to call it quits with your nursing school career. In the end, all the pain and suffering you are about to experience is all worth with especially when your patient will personally say..
"Thank you for being with me when I feel alone"
"Thank you for caring for me"
"Thank you for understanding me"
All these thanks yous and more is what you'll get and more.
Yes, you read it. The satisfaction that you made a difference in someone's life BIG or small is a big thing.
So, even if you come across a patient that will curse the daylights out of you, or someone who will make you life a living hell for your shift, or even if you get eaten alive by your peers or sometimes nurses you work with, remember, we have all gone through the same thing.
So put your head up, stay positive, do your best, and kick some nursing ass!
YOU CAN DO IT! If you were able to get in nursing school, well I say, welcome to the elite few that made it in, now it's a matter of making it out alive.
Put your game face on and can I get an UURRRRRRAAAAAAHHHH? or at least, an Amen will do.
