I am going back to school after graduating from UC Davis in 1987!
Has anyone found that there are problems getting into 223/224/251 ? I was hoping to finish these prereqs in the 10-11 year so I could apply for the 11-12 sessions - Even looking at UNR those classes are already totally full for fall -
Unfortunately I have to take 190 as I went to school ages ago, so I cannt register for 223 until have through the 190 Summer course -
Any feedback welcomed!

Catherine,
The trick with that at TMCC is to make sure that all your previous coursework is in Records/Admissions and that they have given you credit for your prior classes. That way, you will be closer to the front of the linefor registration. For example, if you don't have any credit hours on record and accepted, you will be placed on the last day for registration starts. However, if you have 60+ credit hours accepted, then your slot will be open on the first available day of registration. Further than that they also break it down by last name. So when registering, if you have 60+ credit hours and your last name stars L-Q, then you might start at 10:00 am on the first day.
All that said, registration has already begun (and is still open) for fall 2010. The best bet is to apply for admission, get your prior coursework xferred, and make an appt with advising (ask specifically for someone who works with nursing applicants, not all advisors know the ropes).
Good Luck! ~N

Hi Catherine,
I'm following the same path you've taken starting Spring 2012. Just going through the old posts to see if I can find helpful informaitons. Hope you've already gotten into a program and hope I'll eventually get in, too. :)
