Hi @Sadia2255 I just received my offer letter for Pre-fall 2026 and I am so excited to start! I have a BS in biology so I had most of all the pre-reqs when I applied and have healthcare work experience . The application process was pretty simple and I scheduled a group interview pretty quick after submitting my application. The interview was great in my opinion, it felt more like a conversation with the admissions counselor and other prospective students. Also the class size is fairly large, they accept more than a hundred students at CC and less at the dixon campus. I am nervous about the intensity of the actual program so I will definitely be coming back here to see if anyone who has completed this program can share their experience. BUT also I am still completing one last pre-req before I start so if you have most of the pre-reqs and know you can get them completed before classes start you can definitely apply sooner than later!
@Jazvas398 OMG congratulations! That's wonderful, and I am so excited for you 🙂
I currently have 3 pre reqs left to go, but I will be finishing chemistry and A&P 2 in the next week. Do you have any idea on the competitiveness of it or how many people already applied? I'm a little stressed just because they're rolling and I'm not sure if my application is going in a bit late.
Also forgot to add this in but do you know how many days it took for you to get the interview and then the acceptance after? And when did you submit your application if you don't mind me asking.

Hi! I'm currently in a similar boat. I'm taking A&P I and general chem right now, and I have A's right now in those classes, but I feel like I can't apply until after those grades come out officially in December. But I'm worried at that point that it might be too late? Should I still apply? Next semester I'll be taking A&P II and Microbiology, so those will still be pending by the time of application. As someone working a full time corporate job and has no clinical experience, I'm worried about applying as I really only have a strong undergraduate GPA and good science GPA (hopefully!). Hopefully I am not the only one here hoping to do a complete career pivot. 😭
Hi all!
I am updating this thread in case there are others who are still applying and going through the process. I submitted my application 9/18 but my recommender who wrote my letter did not submit until 10/31, so my application was fully done then. I checked my portal about 5 days later and there was an update to schedule an interview, with the earliest date being one-ish weeks out from when I saw the update. My interview is tomorrow so I will keep everyone posted!

Hi Grace congratulations on the interview I did mine August 13th and got in the interview was easy and went well. That's great you got an interview so quick 5 days later. I'm so excited to start in May!
Hi! Just to update everyone, I submitted my application on 10/22, got the interview invite on 10/24, and had my interview on 10/29 in person. I got my acceptance letter on 10/30. I also have one prerequisite course that I have to complete, so I would definitely apply even if you don't have everything done (as long as you have 3 out of the 4 sciences complete). Excited to start!
I just got the email inviting me to interview for the program—so excited! Unfortunately, the next interview slot isn't in until mid-January. Can someone provide some insight as to what to expect at the interview?
I still have 2 prerequisites to go—my plan was to do them at Montco this Spring, but then I realized the ABSN program starts in May not August—cutting it close. I'm debating whether or not I should just get them done on Portage instead.

Hey so it's actually really chill. It's a group interview where you will be interviewing with around 3 other people. They send you 4 questions ahead of time the day before which are the exact questions they will ask, and then they ask a unique question to each of the people being interviewed that is not given to you. The questions are basics like tell me why you want to be a nurse, what would make you a good nurse, what are the top traits in successful nurses and what do you embody the most, and what is your biggest accomplishment?
As with prerequisites, I did all of mine through Portage because I'm still in college right now (graduating this upcoming Spring) and I got an A+ in all the classes. I didn't think the classes were difficult and I learned a lot. You can finish them up really quickly, and they don't cost a lot either.

Hi! I know it's still really early but I wanted to know if anyone has applied for or will be applying for the ABSN+ 1 Year program in Center City at TJU this year for Pre Fall 2026? I'm not sure how competitive it is at all since I couldn't find anything, but I wanted to see if I could find anyone else who is interested!
