Thinking of starting a new career.

I have worked in retail management for the last 13yrs, and as everyone knows, there is no job security in retail anymore. I have closed one store this year already and just find out the company that im currently working for has filed bankruptcy and I will be jobless once again by the end of the christmas season. I was considering becoming a cna. Anybody have any input on this.:(

CNA work isn't the most glamorous but it can be very rewarding. If you enjoy taking care of people and don't mind the down and dirty then I say go for it! Not sure how the pay will compare to what you've been making. CNA's generally don't make a lot of money. I have a part time job as a CNA and make more per hour than my husband who is in food management. I'm honestly only doing it until I can get my RN. I only wish the pay were better! I was started out at $9/hour with a $2 shift diff for working weekends.
