I've been an LVN in Texas for about 16 years and got my Bachelor degree (not in nursing) in 2008. I'm thinking of applying for a healthcare recruiter job with Maxim but concerned about what types of demands there are and whether it's a stable job or not.
My goal is to move into more administrative functions or educational roles in nursing rather than direct patient care.
I'm also looking at applying for a job with KCI.
I was considering switching careers but after some time and consideration (and hours/tuition spent in grad school) I've decided to go for my RN instead and am in the process of getting that done. That being said, I'm not sure about the Maxim job.
Anyone have experience working as a Healthcare Recruiter? I'd like to hear your experiences and thoughts on it and whether it was for Maxim or not. My education and experience support the requirements but whether it would be a good job or not is the question. I'd hate to apply for something that may not support me six months from now or that will turn into a nightmare. I've had enough of those jobs as an LVN.
Thanks for any info or advice!
