Like everybody know, plastic surgeries and treatments related with it, most of the time, are not cover by health insurance, so patients have to find the money to pay for these services. So, if a place where doctors not only take care of rutine appoitments but also perform surgeries in there, and have a pretty good amount of patients is offering jobs for nurses to take care of patients pre and post surgery, would you apply?. Do you think this job is safe, meaning economically? In these days where the economy of the country is bad. Would you quit the job that you have and where you are safe but that is not what you want to do for a job in the place that i describe before?..

I would look at their track record - how long they've been there; talk to other emplyees there to see how long they've been there, how their benefits are, etc.
One thing about the smaller work environments is that the job roles and responsibilities may not be as clearly defined as a larger venue, so that may be something to look at. You don't want to find out after the fact that you're expected to perform secretarial or janitorial duties.
Working in a private office or clinic can be as 'safe' as any other job right now, as there really is no such thing as a safe job just now. I would proceed with caution as far as changing jobs right now because of it, because the job you leave - as distasteful as it may seem - may not be there should you want to return to it after finding the grass isn't greener on the other side.
