Think my instructors are tryingn to kick me out

Hello everyone,

I really need some insight. I'm in my first semester of nursing and I have good test grades. But my instructors at clinical asked me to stay after to "talk". They said that I appear stressed and it's affecting my ability to process information. They gave examples such as "I forgot the combination to med supply door and needed help with sliding pan under my geriatric patient." We only practice these things one time and this was my first patient that I had where I had to actually do this. We learned this 2 mos ago and haven't gone over it again. The instructors were very cold to me even though I was crying b/c I don't agree with what they are saying. My patients have always responded positively to my care. The instructors also said that they are concerned b/c this is affecting other students and patients. It seemed like they were interrogating me. They asked me if I was seeing a counselor and said that I "appear nervous all the time, my voice and hands shake" and asked me if something else is going on. This is ridiculous ! I don't have any substance abuse problems and my voice does not shake and such. It really seems that they just don't like me for some reason and are trying to come up with things to "kick me out". I am really upset b/c I wanted to be a nurse for 5 yrs. and I know that I would be a good one, but what should I do now? Now I don't even want to go back. Any perspectives or insight? Can instructors do this to students? Please help!:bluecry1:
