Anyone keeping up with The Walking Dead series? It started back last night. It's in the 10th season now.
I have mixed feelings about the show.

I stopped watching it a couple of seasons ago.
It just stop being fun (and about zombies).
I guess I'm more interested in zombies and not the clash between people (characters).

Yeah, I feel the same way, @Joe V.

I've never watched it.... for the longest time, I had cut the cord and told the cable company to take a hike. Usually, there's very little that I want to watch, so it's more for background noise than anything else.

I have 2+ seasons hanging out on my DVR. I haven't even made it to the point of Rick leaving. Now that there's nobody left but Daryl and Carol from the original cast and they've killed pretty much every character I cared about I'm thinking I probably won't bother trying to catch up on it

Agree 100%. It used to be they'd have conflicts with other groups and watching our core group obviously fighting to keep some sort of moral society intact was fascinating to watch. The original showrunners did a great job of showing how they were surviving the zombie apocalypse while still keeping their humanity
Then the morality of our core group became questionable at best. In my opinion this started when the survivors started getting political. That wasn't only unnecessary it pretty much ruined the show. Now it's like the zombie apocalypse version of a world war. The bad guys are bigger and badder. The good guys are behaving badly. Everyone is fighting each other and nobody is fighting zombies. Where have all the walkers gone?
Sunday night's episode was improved. Still ...
I guess I am hoping it will be like it used to be.
I'm honestly so far behind. I have I think the last 25 episodes sitting on my DVR. I just can't decide if it's worth watching them all knowing already there's a lot I won't necessarily like just to get back to episodes where it's OK again.
Help me decide if I should watch them while I'm on vacation since I do have time to catch up or if I should just say the heck with it since I don't think it'll ever be as great as it was and purge that DVR.

Hello @kbrn2002
I can't make the final decision for you, but (without revealing spoilers) you probably will be shocked, mad, frustrated, disgusted, bored, sad, disappointed, and any number of other emotions.
I honestly keep watching just to get to the end and I think it will be soon, but that's just my opinion.
But, if those last 25 episodes have not already been spoiled for me, I'd probably STILL watch them even if someone told me what I just told you.

So far, for me, it's not OK yet.

The story line lost it's appeal for me. I don't generally watch or read "entertainment" which is so focused upon depravity and desperation.
