Anyone else applying or has applied for University of Alabama online MSN FNP program for Summer 2026?

I applied for the Summer but for psychiatric nurse practitioner.

Nice! Best of luck.  When did you submit your interview?  I just did mine on Saturday. I've heard it takes about 2-3 weeks to hear back about the decision.

I did it over a month ago and mine still says (on the portal) awaiting for decision to be released.

I finally received an email saying that I had been recommended for the next stage of evaluation to complete the drug screen and background check. I completed both this week. Have you received anything yet?

Awesome! Congrats!  I haven't heard anything yet. It's only been a week since I submitted my interview. So, Maybe I'll hear something next week, or maybe not until after the holidays. I checked my status and still says "departmental review".  

Did they give you a deadline for completing the background and drug screen? I am leaving for Brazil on Monday and won't be back until Jan 10. So, hoping there isn't something time sensitive if they accept me while I'm gone

It said at least 60 days prior to the start of the semester. I just went ahead and completed it so maybe I could get an official acceptance letter LOL. So I believe you are good.

OK great. Thanks for the heads up! I know what you mean. I just want to have it all wrapped up.
