Gonna need some clarification on the frostbite.

Cafe serves slushy's off/on and the boys decided to stick their finger in the frozen slushy for over 15 minutes. This kid ended up with frostbite. Painful lesson to learn.

A spot became available at one of our high schools, so I jumped right on that one. Couldn't get out of the elementary school I was assigned to fast enough! Not an appropriate placement for an LVN at all. So, I've been here 4 days and have had 2 911 calls already. Still glad I'm here though. Have a great weekend, everyone.

Long week, folks. Woke up every morning wondering why I am doing this. I'm not handling being out of SPED nursing very well...I miss those kiddos so much. Waiting for some clarity to hit me. We'll see! TGIF, indeed.

55 minutes until I blow this pop stand. Today was a helluva day! Tons of kids in and a cafeteria worker got a cut from the tin foil dispenser that required stitches.

I will bust outta here, go grocery shopping, go running, and then have a date with my couch and Netflix (that my cat is likely to crash)

They had lip sync! The kids that were "dying" from cramps on my cots yesterday were out there shaking what their mommas gave them.

I ran the last 3 nights. It's really helping my stress.

I haven't run since Sunday because I fell on that run. Both palms and both knees are scraped up. I will try today, though my knees hurt a little.

I long for a 3 day weekend! While our kids are off on Monday, we get to have Teacher Inservice. Yippee. At least I don't have to wake my kids up, so I get about an extra hour of sleep!
