TGIF

This has been the longest week ever!!! I need Thanksgiving Break. Just heard the announcement "Please release Mr.__________________ 5th period class to the cafeteria. You guessed it, field trip I knew nothing about. And at this late hour, his problem and not mine!!!

And passes - I swear I want to kill these teachers. How hard is it to fill out a darn pass?? Especially when we are doing tardy freezes randomly this week.

Or they can complete a pass with every single box checked under symptoms with a diagnosis and treatment plan written and don't forget the frowny face!!! However, they cannot write the kid's name ant what time they left class.

    Had a new diagnosed case of strep throat today. Oh goodie! That makes at least 3 new cases each week since early February! I'm so over it! Worst part is these kids present with almost zero symptoms, no fever, many no sore throat, most seem to have a headache and sometimes an earache. So ready for it to go away! TGIF!

    I was so happy it was Friday... Thought I'd be able to finish my documentation... Boy was I wrong... How does a child manage to get pencil lead stuck in his forehead, HOW?!?!? LOL.... I'm so ready for the weekend!

    It was Intermittent Internet Day with a side order of Pee you Pants Day. One was waiting for a parent in my office "for privacy" (oh sure) while another one came in and proceeded to pee all over my office floor. Thanks for that. Can't get out of here fast enough today. 24 more days...tick tock.

    I've only had 3 days of school this week, but it feels like 7. Lots of psych stuff, lots of dressings (which I'm fine with, but they all seem to come at once) and everyone in the school has their period.

    I am going out to dinner with my GF's tonight.

    I am going to cuddle up with my cat tonight and watch some Orange is the New Black and eat Chipotle. And I'll pay the extra for guacamole.
