Textbooks for CLC - previous editions OK?

i just pulled up the list of the required texts for the program (fall listing, of course as its too early to post the spring). i'm thinking of about what editions could we use.

i mean, afterall, if you are buying all your books when you first start, then, chances are you don't need to use textbook a or b until the 2nd or 3rd semester...so earlier editions would be okay? hmmm...

also, what book would you recommend as a must buy now based on this list of 21? i know potter & perry is essential, but a new edition is out. can i use the earlier editions?

thanks!

I think I'd wait if I were you. Someone on here (and I'm sorry I can't remember who) said they heard that CLC was making some textbook changes, and suggested waiting until after the Jan. 7 orientation meeting to buy anything.
