Has anyone had their interview at TWU yet this year? I interview there on the 23rd of November. I would like to get a feel about the interview, if at all possible. I have heard from others they drill you at this interview also. I am really looking forward to this interview. Thanks.

Damon

Hi again! I have mine a week before you. I'll let you know how the drilling goes...:crying2: Wish me luck!

Good Luck!!!! I will be interviewing in CT the week before. Hopefully, I will have all the bugs worked out by my interview with TWU. Please, let me know how it goes.

Sorry,

But I have to take offense to this. If you are aware of this going on, you should report it to Dr. Reinke, or John Martin, instead of blasting the school you are in. There are numerous RN's who would trade places with you in a heartbeat. You should report this to not only protect the reputation of the school, but also the integrity of the future certification you and I are to hold. Blasting the school will only make you look bad. This school has a long reputation of CRNA production. It also has its problems, like I'm sure every school does. I'm not sure how you were treated like dirt, but this is adult education, you get out of it what you put into it. There were several in my class, one year ahead of you, that wanted to be spoon fed info all year, and whined the whole time. They made it tough on us too. If you are that unhappy, maybe you should quit. If you make it to clinical, you'll be glad you had to go through what you're in right now.

I apologize if this is offensive, this just caused a minor catecholamine surge.

First that was no whining as you suggest. I do not want to be spoon fed. I have two masters one as a FNP and my MBA. So it is straight I did approach Dr. Reinke and John Martin. It led to the cheating students being told I observed them with last years test. One admitted to it and was removed and the other students threatening to harm me. Far from whining but I have had better adult interactions with children than with john martin. NO confidentiality and no respect was the problem. I am leaving TWU and going back to Iraq with the Air Force. At least I have a role there, respect and accountability to my superiors.

Kay Sanders left TWU for TCU with the same issues of no respect. She lectures and informed the class of that fact. I will finish my CRNA training but with the Air Force. Yes I did take offense to your message and I think you should not be so jaded. Your school may have done well with you but no all are feeling your way. I respect Dr. Reinke but John Martin failed me with his disclosure of my name to the students being investigated. Go somewhere else is my opinion not anger just resentment for the failures of the higher ups.

I apologize to all I should not have posted a venting. My failure should not cause anyone not to apply at TWU. Best of luck to all this interview cycle.

I received a letter today asking to call and set up an interview. I'm waiting for a call back as I will interview in the town I'm living in. I plan to do my clinicals here.

Good luck!

Jennie

Know that the very profession that we will all enter into is a very small community, everybody knows somebody somewhere. It is a shame that your name was given out when addressing the issue of academic integrity. To the individual that was pointed out by Dr. Martin, I am sorry to here of this unfortuanate encounter. I interviewed at TWU last year but now attend Samuel Merrit College in Oakland, CA and love the program. Be safe in Iraq, god bless you and be safe.

Ramon

For those who have interviewed this year. How have they gone?
