Hey ? I have very similar stats and health care experience as you do. Throughout college & up until now, I've worked in community hospitals, ICUs, ERs, and completed a public health study abroad. Unfortunately, my CNA course has been delayed due to COVID-19. Based on the webinars, they seem to take a very holistic approach when looking at applications, so hopefully we have a good shot.
I also haven't taken pathophysiology yet, but I'm verifying with Cindy first to make sure they accept the course I want to register for.
Best of luck to you! Which location(s) are you applying for?
I’m applying only to Austin! I have a house here so I really can’t relocate! Where are you applying?

I'm applying to Dallas! I would like to stay here, if possible. But I hear you have a "second choice" so I would probably choose Austin as 2nd since I have family there.

Thank you for starting this group
Im having a hard time finding a school that is still having classes for a CNA.

Hey y'all, I haven't seen a threat for the 2021 cohort yet, so I created one so we can all share our expectations!
I graduated in May 2019, my GPA is 3.7 and my science is a little low, 3.2 (but I haven't taken micro yet).
I have tons of healthcare experience in hospital, medical clinic, assisted living facilities and high school. I am CNA and BLS certified.
I am hoping that is enough to get me an interview!
