Well my #1 choice was Lubbock, but so far I've only received in interview invitation for Abilene, my second choice. I'm going this Saturday to interview and I hope it goes well for us both!
One question I had. Do you know if I do get accepted into Abilene, would they still consider my application for Lubbock?
I would wait to see if you hear anything. Lubbock should tell you something either way, I would think. But, I'm not 100% sure on that. It may be a good question for the admissions office. When you opened your interview invite, did it stat anything about arriving early to complete a project? This has me kinda puzzled as to what it could be.
I'm so excited for you!! That is such great news! So you had your interview and acceptance email the same week? I went in for my interview yesterday, and I believe it went well. They told me I would be hearing something during the latter part of November.... such a long time from now! Did you receive any info about orientation?
They had told me it would be the end of November as well. I received an email a week later with an acceptance to the school (along with a $100 fee to keep my placement), it is the Abilene campus. I have been told that the acceptance has been raised from 40 to 50 this semester, but I am unsure how many people applied this round. If you did not get accepted I believe you should get an email too, if you applied to a different location I would suggest calling and seeing if they have already notified everyone who has been accepted. Best of luck, and I hope you made it too. :)
I received my acceptance letter as well. I did receive a follow up email stating that I needed to go for my background check. I have that scheduled for this Thursday. Does everyone have their immunizations and up to date CPR completed? I need to renew my CPR training and I believe I have all my immunizations complete (I just have to find the documentation).
I am having my background check tomorrow, Brownwood is the closest one to Abilene frustratingly. I just need to complete the meningitis vaccine and I highly suggest the flu shot if you have not already (I do not know if this is a requirement, but for clinical time for CNA if you did not get the vaccine then you could not be in the facility if someone had the flu. This might have been the facility or the program, I am unsure), but any vaccines have to be completed by the first day of school (January 17th, 2017 for Traditional BSN) I believe. I have my CPR/AED still current, but you can check for local places that have the examination. :)

Hey guys!
I just applied to this program and was curious if anyone out there has as well. Would be nice to see if anyone gets a response or to track our process! Feel free to add any additional information you have on this program. Also, have you guys applied elsewhere?
