 I am looking for someone who is going/has (recently) gone to UTH-HSC's BSN program. I would like to get a "heads-up", any advice, buy used books, or possibly carpool in the future. Thanks for your help!

i am apply there this year. very nervous! email me or PM me sometime and we can chat.

My friend just got accepted to UTHSCSA BSN program here in San Antonio. She starts the beginning of January 05'.

I just finished my first semester at UTH-HSC. I'm so glad for the break before starting another semester. All I can said is that, you must have good time management skill, otherwise, it going to be tough. Anyway, as for head-up goes, once you're accepted into the program, they will send you a letter over the summer, giving you opportunites to attend two-weeks program called FOCUS to prepare you for the coming semester. Also, you can request to be assign a "buddy" who you can team up for help or questions. As for books, I spend appx $800, not including supplies. Places to get you books: Major Book on Fannin or at UT bookstores, it's about the same price anyway.

Hmmm, parking is $52/month last time I checked. I work at MD Anderson so I don't have to buy it. There's also shuttle bus, and carpool with classmates once you pass the word around.

Hope that help ya. Let be know if you have any specific question.

Merry Christmas!
