I noticed there wasn't a topic on the texas childrens nurse residency for the spring 2019. Just wanted to make one so we can keep each other updated. :)

I know that the application was due for Texas Children's last week, have you heard back from any other hospitals?

Yes! Recruiter said we should hear back this week or next week for tch.

Yes! I've heard back from Methodist sugarland and Harris health. It's still a little early so don't worry if you haven't heard back yet.

Thanks for making this thread! I applied to Texas Children's with Med Center as my campus of preference and NICU/PICU being my preferred units. Looking forward to hearing back from them within the next couple weeks.

What hospital and units did everyone else apply to?

I applied for the West Campus location in Katy for an L&D/Pediatric Unit.

Yes! I got an email last Thursday inviting me to the Virtual Open House which was an online event that happened last Friday. I will be shadowing and interviewing with the NICU IV this Thursday. I'm so excited! During Open House they said interviews will be held October 22-31 and offers will be going out starting the week of November 7th.
