Texas A&M Nursing Admsission Fall 2016

Hi all! I had submitted an application for Texas A&M Commerce's BSN program for Fall 2016 start date. I was wondering if anyone has heard back from the nursing department about their admission status? I heard they sent out acceptance emails last Friday, but would that mean that if you hadn't gotten one you've been denied admission?😕 Any information is helpful! The anticipation is killing me!

Hello i also applied and have not heard anything :/. My work collague who was accepted in the top 10% heard from them sunday. They informed him he needed to reply by June 20th to tell them if he would like to contiune with the program. I am so scared i did not get in due to not hearing anything. Have you heard anything yet?

Thanks for replying HatfieldCMA! I thought I'd never hear anything. Well, I have yet to hear anything yet and I check my email/mailbox every day. If you don't mind me asking, how was your colleague notified (mail or email)? Also, do you mind sharing your credentials?

He was notified by email; he also just texted me and informed me today that he spoke to the secretary at the nursing program and they informed him they are not even half way done sending out acceptance letter! I think that is a good sign. I graduated from pjc with a GPA of 3.55 by taking all of the nursing prerequisites,i got my CNA, and CMA certifications to start getting experience in the field. I got an 80 on the hesi :/. How about you?

That's great news! Hopefully I'll find out soon whether I've been accepted or not. I have a 3.3 support gpa and managed to score a 90 on my hesi and a 850 on critical thinking.

I wonder how many applicants there were for Fall 2016.

That is awesome! Yes i hope that we both get in. If i get an email i will tell you. If figure since they are still sending out acceptance letter not getting a email yet is better than already getting one that says denied! I am not sure hopefully it is a lot.
