Hi everyone. I am currently waiting on THE letter from LMU for Spring '08..anyone else waiting?

Yep, just a few more days! Are you taking Lincoln Life- I still have not received my book for that class

i am scared though, the mortgage is still due! I am going thru chapter 8-10 tonight. I am using the formula method- it seems to work for me

Hey, I don't know about yours, but my letter that came with my packet said not to use the formula method. It said to only use and learn the ratio and proportion method. That may just be for St. Mary's but you may want to check and make sure.

I already rcvd my book! And yes I am taking Lncn life. My financial aid makes me take FT hours- That s ok with me though because I don't have to take any mandatory classes bc I have them already. My letter said I had to use the proportion method as well.

I kinda had a hard time with chapters 8 and 9. They were a little confusing at first! I had to re-do them to make sure that I understood it completely..what about you guys?

the formula method is the easist, oh shi*. I guess that is what I am doing tonight-- which is easier, probably ratio. I am going to Blount too

hey..I think ratio is easier, but we have to learn both! You'll get it. I looked at it, and thought the formula method looked way to complicated!! :)

My letter says to learn the ratio method only. I just started the book yesterday.

Can you help me by my gpa is a 2.9 and I'm trying to get into lmu can you get in with this kind of gpa ?

Is LMU's Nursing School difficult to get into? I have a bachelors degree and masters degree in education. I was a nursing major until I changed my major to education, so I have almost all of my pre-reqs. I have to take A&P 2, Developmental Psychology, and Nutrition. I will be taking those in the spring. I am currently a teacher with a 9 month old. So, I will have to work hard to manage work, family, and school in the spring. However, if I get accepted to LMU, I will be quitting my job to pursue nursing. The problem is that my GPA is less than desirable. In undergrad, I was a slacker. I squeaked by with B's and C's. In my masters program I had a 4.0 because school was more important. I know that I can make A's in the three classes this spring as well. Does anyone know if I will be able to get into the program with these grades? My GPA is a 2.76...which is pretty horrible. I just can't teach the rest of my life. I really feel like nursing is where I am suppose to be. Please help!!!
