Hello, I am taking the compass exam tomorrow morning for the LPN Program in Dickson, TN. I am super nervous about it. It is Math and Reading. Has anyone taken this exam for the program, or knows the avg score for being admitted? 50 / 80 is the lowest they accept. I feel like I am competent in math and reading, but not the best test taker. Any insight on how hard the exam is? Thanks ahead of time for your input!

Hello, :) I too will be taking the Compass test again later on in the year for the Memphis campus. I did well on the reading (scored 90) but poorly on the math (38) Math is not my strong point but I can get at least a B. So right now I'm just brushing up on my math so I can do better. My rule of thumb is to try and score 10 points above the minimum. So with the math I'm aiming for at least a 60.
And ditto, on not being a great test taker. Neither am I, but I'm not giving up and all I can do is my best. Hope this helps and good luck.
