I am actively seeking any information/guidance from those of you in the know. I have 23 years ED experience in Level I and II trauma centers and also in the HMO setting doing telephone triage. Can anyone tell me if there is such a service offered that would allow me to work out of my home? I want to use my experience and knowledge base by extending my career into something more satisfying which would pay me comparable to what I make now. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hello to Seeking Employment! I just recently left a telephone
triage position, where I had worked for 6 years. I, too, wanted
to work from home. However, nursing being extremely political
at times, I was told that a job like that would have to go to
someone that the nurse manager chose personally. I still had a
very strong desire to work from home, doing basically what
I did on my job. So in between jobs, I decided to get my own
website. Not knowing a lot about the web and how to get
such a page started, I responded to an email directing me to
Rexall. I went and explored the site, and decided to get a
web site with them as an independent business operator. I designed the site the way I wanted. There are many details to share with you, but I do not want to advertise in this forum. If
you would like more information, please feel free to email me, and we can discuss the options in more detail. My email address is [email protected].
