Technology/Social Media Presentation

I am a BSN student at Murray State University. In a few weeks I will be giving a group presentation on nursing technology (social media, TeleHealth, etc). I was wanting some input from experienced nurses on their take on this issue...and really any help/resources/information you can give me would be helpful and greatly appreciated!

Here are some questions to prompt your ideas:

1. Has anyone in your facility ever used social media inappropriately and what were the repercussions?

2. What are the advantages of TeleHealth that you see in your facility (or other TeleMedicine based systems)? Any disadvantages?

3. How has social media or technology affected health care, economics, societal relationships in your facility?
