Hi everyone,
This is my second attempt at taking the Teas V exam I scored a 49.3% on the first attempt back in 2012. I was taking science courses in between studying for the exam. I felt like I could've done better,if I had more time to prepare. Now, it is 2014 and I am ready to take the exam over. I have to take Micro. in the spring. Any tips?

Use this FAQ to guide you throughout your study plan: https://allnurses.com/teas-exam-help/how-i-passed-804222.html
It just lists all the concepts you need to know in an easy to follow format so you don't get overwhelmed just staring at the TEAS book. I printed it out so I could refer to it when going through and checking off what I "already know", "need to know", "need to practice" so I could really focus on what my weak points were.
Overall, my number one tip is PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE these concepts listed, utilize your resources whether it's a website or in-person tutor at school, and really crack down on studying and just generally reviewing the ATI manual. Mostly everything you need to know is in that book! Also take practice tests online, utilize youtube and khan academy (khan academy helped me immensely in improving my math, helped me bring it up from a 50% to an 80%) as resources to supplement the book. If you have issues with math there is a guy on youtube that goes through every page of the TEAS manual math section his account name is "keshwani prep", and there are several science you tubes that can break everything down. Have you taken chemistry? If you have that will help you greatly.
Good luck!
Hi, sorry for the late response. I did take micro. however I didn't pass the class and now I have to retake my science courses over. I'm okay with that though. In the meantime, I have been practicing for the TEAS again and hoping I get accepted to TWU in Dallas in the near future.
