Hello, has anyone here taken the TEAS V? The main question I have is that I noticed the Online ATI practice test seemed very different from the ATI Study Manual tests, especially in the Science section. There were questions on the online test that were not even covered in the study manual. Is the actual teas v test more like the online ati tests or the manual ati tests? Thank you.

Hi....I did purchase the online tests and thought they were pretty close to the real one. I think it really helped me. Good luck :)

Mine was similar to the practice tests that I bought on the ATI website. The science portion was all over the place for me though, but take in consideration I haven't had A&P yet, so that hurt me.

I agree with what you said about the ATI online assessment. It also seemed to me that the online assessment's science portion was more general and not necessarily base don what was in the study guide. I do hope that this will not be the case with the actual test!

The "live" test was pretty similar to the online practice tests. If you're able to pass the online practice test from ATI, you should pass the TEAS V with a similar grade. The content will be generally similar, but probably not identical. One small change is the presentation. The online practice tests will show one question at a time while the live version can/will show multiple questions per page. While it's a little thing, it could surprise you at first...
Thank you very much for the input. Every bit helps. It is just a pain because their was stuff on the science portion that was not in the manual. Oh well I just got to put my nose to the grind stone.....
I just hope that they make the online tests harder so that you are pushed to study more....
Thank you!

So do you think its worth purchasing the online practice test?
The only thing I've studied is the McGraw book I downloaded.
Ok thanks I'm just trying to figure out if its worth buging the ati practice or if I should buy other books to help.have you taken the test yet?

Buying other books will help alot. I haven't taken the test. I just started clinical.
I would buy the ATI book. It is the same company that administers the test. I would also purchase the online exams. They give you great practice as to how the actual test might go and they show you some of the additional stuff you might need to study that isn't in the ATI book (especially when it comes to science). I haven't taken the test yet but the ATI book seems pretty straight forward and tells you what to study and gives good examples.
