funny you should ask that, I asked the same thing to people that I knew had taken it prior. Its OK. BUT SLOW. If you are speedy and quick on a regular calc, then the computer one that makes you click the numbers vs. use teh number pad is going to drive you nuts.... but its simple. the math is really easy. Know your basic math, and def know your conversions of the metric system... but truly its so easy.
know your conversions of:
pints to quarts, how many oz in a cup and then how many ml in an ounce. From there I found I was able to figure out the answers to the questions.
I understand its all relative to how one finds math, we are all not mathematical whizes but I found the math really simple.... If you can get 80% from the tests in the study guide then you will do fine.
Now I will say that the science is not so straight forward and comparable to the study guide.... if you know your science and really study the guide you'll be OK, but dont think you can wing it because its multiple choice, as the choices wont help you. you have to have an idea of the answer to pick the correct multiple choice answer.

Hi!
So I am quite nervous about the entrance exams, I'm not a great test-taker, especially on these standardized ones/assessments, it's due to my testing anxiety! However, I'm great on courses' exams and finals and all. What are some tips about the HESI and TEAS-V that you all can give me? Thanks for your input.
