TEAS test

Published

Hi there,

I'm studying for the TEAS test, and using two different books: McGraw Hill and Kaplan workbooks for preparation. It's a lot to get down. Are these books consistent with the actual TEAS test?

Another question, is how do you KNOW exactly what topics are going to be on your TEAS test, as there's a broad range of topics in every subject, especially science. Is it just random generated questions on the actual TEAS test?

I plan on taking it in February or March. Anyone take it? And what is to be expected in Mathematics? Basic algebra? If I had to guess -- lots of order of operations and dimensional analysis, yes?

Does anyone have any good links for practicing the TEAS? The more info. I can jumble into my mind, the better. TY

Hi, I recently took the TEAS. I saw a good mix of things. The math was very basic algebra and a little bit of statistics. I had some scatter plots and charts that I had to decipher. There was some geometry, maybe 2 to 3 questions. There was some anatomy, some biology and I saw maybe 2 chemistry questions on there. McGraw Hill does seem to follow along with the actual TEAS test pretty well. I believe every test is different so you don't actually know what you're getting. For me, it was a lot like a test you'd take in high school, very basic knowledge which a lot of people forget over time such as I did.

I have an app on my phone called "ATI TEAS 6 Practice Test 2017 Edition". Found it on the Google Play app store. It runs you through sample tests and wont let you continue until you have answered all the questions correctly, and then will have you go over the ones you missed a couple times explaining why you got the wrong answer.
