TEAS/TABE/Erwin LPN course textbooks

Hello all, first post from a long time "lurker".

I'm finally taking the initial steps toward my long time desire to enter nursing.

I am planning on taking my TABE9d and TEAS tests for Erwin Vo Tech here in Tampa soon.

I was wondering if anyone has information on study guides for these test or if anyone in the area

has the study guide Erwin is selling for $49 and would be willing to sell me theirs for less?

I am caring for my sick mother and hope to get things in order to begin classes in '12 either night or days.

I figured I could use my time wisely between now and then, find the course textbooks and get a head start on the classes...good idea?

Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that I didn't buy the study guide book. I was told that you don't need it. There is a few links on their site for practice tests. Also if you google TABE practice tests there are a lot that you can get for free. I live in Tampa so let me know if you need anything.

Hello Lindsey,

Are you currently in the program at Erwin In Tampa Fl? I plan on applying for next class. If you are can you tell me how time consuming it is and the level of difficulty. Thanks!!
