TEAS score, should I retake?

Nursing Students TEAS

Hey everyone,

so I just took my TEAS exam for the first time and got an 81.3%. This is 86th percentile in my program. Mean score for my program is 65.7%. Should I be okay with this score if I have a 4.0 GPA in all of my college classes? Or should I retest? Trying to save the money if I can but I definitely want to make sure Im able to get into my program. Thank you for any help!

I hate to say this because I know it doesn't seem helpful, but *it depends*.
Does your school use a point system? If so, how many total points do you have? How many applicants are there? How many seats are there?
I would talk to a program advisor and ask how competitive your application is, they should know the stats of other applicants for this period.

So, I did meet with my advisor. Pretty competitive as far as points go I have maximum points outside of TEAS score, so I'm not going to retake even though I'm confident I would get a much higher score ? thanks for your response!

Sounds like you have a great chance! How exciting for you ?
