Hi, I've been studying for the Teas six exam, and I've noticed a lot of practice questions involving knowledge of elements on the periodic table. Do they provide you with a periodic table for the exam, or is that just something that I need to commit to memory. Also, should I take time to learn formulas as well?

From what I remember, a periodic table wasn't provided. So i guess you have to commit it to memory. I also don't remember having to know formulas in order to answer a question, but it couldn't hurt to study them anyway considering that those types of questions can possibly pop up.

I personally didn't have any questions on specific elements (that I can remember), but I did see atomic mass or atomic number. I would be able to calculate the values on the table given other values. I'm aware that sounds like a sloppy sentence, but I haven't had my coffee yet :)
I never took chem, so I was pretty worried about these sorts of questions and it LUCKILY ended up not being a big subject area for me on my exam.
