Hello all who may be reading. This is my first post on AllNurses and as a pre-nursing student I have a question concerning the TEAS exam. I was planning on attending UH Manoa for the Nursing Program, so I took the NLN-PAX. However, I have now decided to transfer into the Kapiolani Community College (KCC) Nursing Program and I will have to take the TEAS in order to apply; they don't accept NLN-PAX exam scores.
I scored in the 96th percentile on the NLN-PAX and I was curious as to how I should study for the TEAS or if I should even study. I mainly focused on vocabulary for the NLN because the science and math weren't too difficult on all of the practice tests that came with the NLN Practice Guide. What should I focus on for the TEAS? And... Is it worth it to buy the Guide?
I really want to do well on the TEAS and would really appreciate it if someone had some advice as to how I should prepare!
Thanks for your help and responses!
