If you pass the TEAS exam with a low score is that considered not good or does it not matter? And does the acceptance rates vary for every school ? One school requires a 59 which is a community college.. what were your scores If you passed and don't mind sharing ?

Some schools will require a minimum passing score of 62% on the TEAS exam but again check with the program that you are applying to because requirements differ from program to program. (I.e. West Coast University accepts a score of 43% or higher)The school may give an option to participate in a TEAS remediation to retest if you meet all the other program requirements.

Be sure to review requirements, reach out to a nursing counselor or attend a nursing info session at the school you wish to apply. Best of luck!

Like the previous poster said, your best bet is to check with the school you wish to apply to. Generally, even if you do get a passing score, it does not guarantee your seat in the nursing program. Similarly, just because you may have a minimum GPA, it does not guarantee a seat in the program. Therefore, always try to score as high on the TEAS/other entrance exam as possible, and do as best as you can on your pre-reqs to get a high GPA. Good luck!

So technically the school that I'm applying to requires a 77 ??.. clearly they're not even playing because a different school requires a 59 which would mean I passed by the skin of my teeth .. but in order to go to that school I'd have to move to another state .. this is going to be a obstacle ..
