TEAS Exam

Nursing Students TEAS

Published

Hello, I am sure this question has been asked multiple times but I am wonder what do everyone recommend for the best up to date study material for the most current TEAS exam which I believe is the Teas 6.

My deadline to complete the exam is May 4th; I want to make sure I allow myself enough time to study for the test and allow myself the opportunity to take the exam again if necessary. I haven't taken any specific science classes yet, as I am registered for A&P 1 for the Spring semester and my biggest concern is the math and science portion of the exam.

Please give me your best advise. Also, am I starting to study too early?

Hey!

I am registering to take the TEAS in may, providing everything goes smoothly. My advisor just sent me a good chunk of things to study and some sources, which I can post once I double check. I wanted to say though that I know you will need to know about the different systems, such as endocrine, lymphatic etc , for the TEAS. SO It might be difficult if you have no previous anatomy experience There was a great post here somewhere with some in depth details about what was on there. The math did not seem to be too difficult from the examples I saw, if you've taken quantitative reasoning or a college algebra you should be fine. Then there were some notes about the English and grammar sections I remember such as knowing where semicolons go, and then on the example I looked at yesterday it was asking for synonyms of words . I'll take a peek at what my advisor sent again and pass them along if they seem like helpful sources! And try to find that other post for you as it seemed very helpful!

Hey - I took the exam on October 15 and posted a long article about what I used and how I studied to get a 96. It's right up in the first few posts on this subforum. I got a bunch of great advice on here and wanted to post something to help others.

Before I took the test, I had done prereq's, but it was over a decade ago.
