Hey everyone..
I took my NCLEX RN exam July 2013, I answered the whole 265 questions in 4 hours. It was one of the worst 4 hours of my life. After 48 hours I did the quick results via pearson vue and found out that I failed. It was one of the most depressing moments of my life. I keep thinking I'm stupid and not good enough. It took me a month to get myself motivated to start studying again. I keep telling myself I failed because I'm not yet ready and that god wanted me to push harder and study harder. I self studied last time and use mostly Saunders Comprehensive Review Book 5th Edition. I thought that was good enough and I was confident I was gonna do good in my exam coz I'm getting high scores with it, then a few weeks before my test in july I did the practice tests in Mosby 20th edition and Lippincott Q&A 11th edition. I got low scores and it really affected me untill the day I took my exam. I know I'm not gonna make it coz I'm not fully prepared, too late for me to reschedule coz my ATT expires july as well.
Anyway I scheduled my next NCLEX exam this coming January 2014. I did the content review using Mosby 20th Edition Comprehensive book and the NCSBN online review. As of now I'm just doing Q&A practice test from books like PDA by La Charity, Mosby, Kaplan Strategies book, Saunders, and recently I bought the DAVIS NCLEX RN SUCCESS. I answer 100-200 questions a day and read and write the rationales that I'm not familiar with. I'm also reading and doing Q&A practice tests in Pharma coz that is one of my weakness.
My practice test scores are: 59%-70% in Mosby, 68-75% in Saunders, and 69% in Kaplan 2013-2014 Strategies Book
I'm also doing the 265 Comprehensive exam in Mosby from time to time and I keep getting 63-65%
These scores makes me feel depress sometimes but I know that I'm slowly improving. I just feel frustrated because I wanna score 80% or higher. Can anyone give me any tips on how to improve my study plan? Thank you in advance
