Taking the NCLEX-PN Aug 25th - nervous!

Published

Hi everyone! I just took the HESI in July and I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX Aug 25th. Problem is that I didn't study very much the last few weeks, but now I'm studying everyday since I made my appointment. I'm scared I won't pass because I took a break for a couple of weeks. Does anyone have any helpful hints? Thanks and GREATLY appreciated!:uhoh3:

By the way - I've been studying Saunders and seem to be doing ok, but I don't have time to do all of the questions. I am doing at least half of them on the disk though.:uhoh3:

I just took my NCLEX August 18 and I had just got back from my honeymoon 3 days prior to "the big test day." For those 3 days I reviewed my whole NCLEX review book. I thought the day of my test "I don't know enough." I had not studied much. That day, I got to the testing center- sat at the computer- took a deep breath and said "I CAN DO THIS. This is what I want." I passed!! Just like Rnn2003 stated "You know this stuff." It has been what you have ate slept and breathed up to this point from the day you started your Pratical Nursing Program. You can do this. It is in your heart.

Hi, re: writing your NCLEX Aug. 18'th; please review and study as much as you can, BUT go to write your NCLEX with a SMILE and CONFIDENCE; as previously mentioned; you honestly can do this, BUT you must believe that............you will give off positive vibes if you believe you can do it........believe in yourself. You have been doing this work and study for a long time; performing the work of an LPN during all your clinicals and probably now working as you wait to write your exam. I am 54 yrs. old, worked as an LPN in CANADA; came to South Carolina and was told I would have to write the NCLEX exam.............Oh, MY GOSH; I was nervous, but thought I can do this; it is not a test for a rocket scientist, but I wondered (deep down) are the questions different from that in Canada? I wrote the exam in South Carolina and passed first time...............SO if I can YOU can, REMEMBER that............I wish you luck and KNOW that you will do well. Please let us know the results as soon as you get them. JUST walk in there, take a deep breath, read each question carefully and the correct answer will stick right out.

Pat from CANADA now in South Carolina:balloons:;)

Here I am about to take the NCLEX-PN for the 3rd time. I am soooo nervous I jus want to cry. I don't even wanna think about failing this test for the 3rd time. I have studied my hardest and feel like I know more than I have ever known. But somehow I still feel like I don't know enough. I take my test July 24th...I'm so nervous. I NEED to pass this test.
