Just wanted to know if it is possible taking the nclex exam in New Jersey where my in-laws are residing, they are already American citizens. If I apply for a tourist visa for the exam, within that six- month period span of the tourist visa, would i be able to adjust my status to working visa as soon as I passed my NCLEX? Would this be feasible? Or will the immigration here in the Philippines be strict about nurses now in 2008 about taking their NCLEX in the US, knowing the fact that eventually they will adjust their status. Please help me. My wife's parents, sisters are US citizens. Since there is a retrogression going on, just wondering if the US immigration will still grand tourist visas to foreign nurses. Kindly respond to this query on my e-mail provided. Thank you.
