Taking Kaplan online course, is it effective enough as the classroom one!

Hi, I have been planning for taking Nclex in next few month. Not yet started a good study plan, though planning to take Kaplan online course in few days. How much is it effective as compared to real classroom scenerio??

You will get more information online than in class. I have taken both and I prefer online because no time is spend answering one particular student and there is less distraction. You get the most learning for the entire class period.

hi, I agree totallyyyyyy with Kahmi, I did both too, classroom first and finished my online review 4 days ago. the instructor was great, no distractions like I had students in class playing on Facebook, some were eating (and that really got me thinking of food at a point...lol). just pick a time that will work for you and go with the online class. I grabbed lots of info from the online class.

I just finished mine 4 days ago online with Amy. Where you in that class? When is your exam? I am doing question trainers now. Just finished the 4th one.

I hated the Kaplan live review, just question after question, nothing on content. HURST is great if you are weak on content. I did HURST twice, once in Jan for HESI and when I failed NCLEX they opened it back for me to review and I did the complete review again to get strength in core content. id o believe it helped tremendously.

hi Kahmi, yes i was in Amy's class 10p - 1am, 9p to 12a for me though. loved the class. nclex is in 4 weeks and i just started the trainers today

Hi Faith246, I was in that class too 10p -1am, 7pm -10pm for me. Great class. Amy was awesome and I learned a lot. This is my second time, took it in late July, how about you? I hope I make it this time. My exam is in 4 weeks too.

hi Kahmi, it's my second time as well, took the first one in March, got the whole 265 questions. sure we'll make it this time by his grace. what materials are you using?

Thank You all for your post and suggestions for the online Kaplan. I have started my Kaplan review class and am half way done. Still trying to catch up with some reviews.....Hope the remaining 1 week of class will increase my confidence in solving the questions in Kaplan way...
