If you had just started your program, give it some time (at least 6 months). I too, thought I wasn't going to stay at the hospital where I am training at. Yet, things changed and the staff and docs grew on me and I liked the challenging cases that we did on a day to day basis. I wouldn't sign on just because my school loans were going to be reduced or forgiven. It all boils down to what will make YOU happy in the long run.

i was just wondering, since you have all been there i'm sure, if any of you have accepted a job or repayment type offer prior to finishing your program?
i have some reserve regarding this issue.
can this be worrisome in the end?
my school has offered to reduce my tuition in half should i agree to work there after graduation (they didn't even say the duration).
it's a nice piece of savings from debt, but i am not sure i will even like it there or even know what 'field' of anesthesia i want to practice in.
so, any thoughts appreciated - -
