Hi all I am new to these boards and am hoping to get some tips for the Hesi Test. I have heard mixed reviews, some scary and others not so scary. The practice tests for the math section don't really have any fractions or ratios which I have been told there are many on the test. Any tips for the math and Vocabulary sections are much appreciated!! Should I really be stressing out this much?

Do you have the HESI study guide? Fractions and ratios are 90% of the math portion.
Thank you!!
Good luck!

how did you do?! I take my exam in two days and I'm totally scared any advice?!
I did decent, I scored 90 on the math, which was mostly ratios and fractions!! There were a few conversions, about 3. Vocabulary was nothing like I studied in review book.. There were words like fontanel and maybe 5 from the book. Reading was just reading short paragraphs and grammar was simple. Grammar had questions such as Their or Thier, basically knowing when and where an apostrophe belongs or the correct way to word a sentence. Overall I scored a 90 on the English composite. I rushed which was my mistake and only got a 79 I think on vocabulary which brought me down!! I hope that helps and Good Luck!!

Did anybody have to do the Biology and Chemistry on the HESI test and if so how hard was it?
