I always went last in labs when it came time to demonstrate skills. My teachers thought it was because I was a pushover - The real reason was that I wanted to watch everybody else and learn from their mistakes!

If you're unsure of anything, ask a question. Asking questions means you're smart enough to know when you need to know more. I'd rather answer a hundred questions than have to deal with a hundred mistakes!

If the reading is getting you down, you said you have a learning disability, try looking into a tutor? If your program is through a community college, there may be a free tutoring program for students. Or you could make a study buddy with somebody in your class. You can help teach each other the material, making you *both* better.

Learning it all isn't easy, but it's definitely possible!
