TAA Tuition Program through Chrysler

I was wondering if anyone who is in a nursing program and is apart of the TAA tuition program could you tell me if once your in your set program do they automatically disperse a voucher to the school that you are attending and how do they go about paying for the extra fees such as books uniforms and etc? Do they pay the extras through a voucher as well?

TAA does not automatically disburse vouchers. I'm not sure what area you're in or which ofice your counselar works out of but you have to be more proactive then you're ever had to be probably in your life. I'm go the Detroit Location and when I first started getting the vouchers I stayed in their face. Remember this is money that's suppose to be allocated to buyout employees so it's not an easy transition. Be very persistant, ask questions and don't stop until you get that voucher in your hand. And yes they pay for books, supplies and uniforms as well. I almost guarantee you that they will say they don't but they do. Ask for the states contract if need be and good luck.
