Switching from RN-MSN FNP to PHMNP

Has anyone done this? I'm currently enrolled in the RN-MSN FNP AO program and am wanting to switch to the PHMNP program. Is this possible? Or do I have to complete my MSN-FNP first, and then go for post-master certification?
