Switching Into a Nursing Program

hey everyone! I'm currently in first year right now and I recently applied to the Mohawk-McMaster Nursing program but I did not take the CASPer so now I don't have a chance to get in. However, I'm going to take the CASPer test for the January 2018 admission and re-apply to the program. I have a 3.2 average right now and was wondering whether I have a shot at getting in (you need at least a 2.7 to be eligible to transfer)? Also, normally terms are from September to December and then January to April but how would January terms work? I'm assuming it would be from January to April and then May to August but I am not sure.
