Good evening everyone, hopefully someone stumbles upon this thread. I sat for the TEAS-V on Thursday, and just received my results. For the math portion I only received the bare minimum--80%. Needless to say, I am crestfallen. An 80% in math is not even worth applying with to SUNY's ABSN program, correct? I received an 95% in reading, have an 4.0 in my prerequisite GPA, as well as an JD, but I feel like this 80% in math will ruin me. Any advice or suggestions anyone would have would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I am just finding this! I would say definitely apply. They are going to be looking at your application as a whole, not just your test score. I believe they are using the TEAS as a way to weed out applicants...almost like a benchmark standard of performance. I hope you still end up applying by the 30th. Im anxiously awaiting any word for them since they are my first choice.
Best of luck!
Hello thanks for responding! I sat for the TEAS-V retake yesterday, so either way I'm applying before the 30th. Did you submit already? I read your other post, I'm sorry I have no information about those programs. Are you applying anywhere else? I've also been looking at Pace, but SUNY is also my top choice. I wish you luck with your SUNY application and thanks again for responding!
Thanks and yea I submitted on October 9th. I hope your retake went well! Best of luck!

Hey guys! There is another thread called "SUNY Downstate Summer 2016" where there's a lot of chatter about the program. I also created a Facebook group "Downstate Nursing 2016/2017" if you'd like to join that!
