Hi,
I applied for fall 2017, in very nervous, how did you know your teas score is in the 90th percentile? I scored a 75 and a 78 is advanced which would give me an extra 20 points, but I'm scared my score will go down and also you lose points for retaking the test which could hurt me more. But I'm hoping I get accepted, I took all the pre reqs as well.
If you log into ATI there's a percentile rank for program..that's the percentile for suffolks nursing program...I emailed the woman who runs the nursing seminar and she said my score isn't "low" but she doesn't have a feel for the applicant pool yet so she couldn't give me a definite on if she thought I would get in...she said if I have time to study and think I can do better that improving 6-10 points would be very helpful so I can get those points for being advanced instead of proficient. I an retaking it again on Jan 13th because I think I can do better. Good luck!!!
Also you don't necessarily lose points for retaking...you just don't get the extra 2 points for first try. I ran out of time on the math because I wasn't watching the clock and on the practice test I was getting 90s so I'm taking a chance and retaking, I also didn't have much time to study on the first try.
I forget what I calculated my score as but I think it was in the 50's which I'm really worried about. I didn't take micro and am only starting A&P 2 this semester because of the new requirements I decided to try to get in before I finish my pre reqs. I'm retaking the test next Friday and praying for advanced because I honestly don't think I'll get in without those extra 20 points. What about you?

Hi, anyone here applying for suffolks nursing program for fall '17? Curious how everyone did on the new teas 6? I'm debating if I should take it again...I ran out of time on the math (my strongest subject) and ended up with an overall score of 72.7, which says is in the 90th percentile for the program...what did everyone else get? Do you think I should retake it...I know I'm running out of time :-)
