Hello there everyone!
I have a question as I have recently had the "omg I really need to get into my dream career now until it's too late" moment. With recent events finally dictating that I will in the future be living in France, I have decided that the only way I can ever start this career path is to study and work in France (in the Paris region).
I am fluent in French, but I am still finding it VERY difficult to find the information that I need regarding the courses, how I would apply as an EU citizen, the course schedule, exactly what I need to do to get to Neonatal Nurse in the end, how long, pricing (pretty much everything!).
Another real worry is that I am currently in a full-time job, and have the lifestyle to match, rent that I share with the Fianceè (add wedding in August to all this!), car etc. I would still need my wage to be able to do these studies.
Does anyone have experience of how you can go back to university as an "older" student financially?

Have you tried calling up the universities and asking their policies on EU citizens entering their courses? The financial aid office should be able to answer your questions regarding tuition and loans.
I don't know what nursing school is like in France, but in the states, it's hard to keep a full-time job. Nursing school is a full-time job. Is your fiancee not working and able to support you both while you go to school?

I don't know whether it is similar to uk. To work in neonates you can apply for a job as long as you are an adult, child branch or midwife. You then do on the job training then you take a university course for neonates at university to gain your qualified in speciality status. I don't know of this works for France
