Hello, I just graduated nursing school in December and take boards April 7th. It seems like a while but I am 7 months pregnant and have a lot going on. I just did HURST and thought it was very helpful in jump starting my studying., My question is, should I gradually study maybe a few hours a day, or go hard core like a lot of my friends? Trying to remain stress free with the baby coming so just wanted some suggestions from what others that aren't in my class are doing, or what has worked well for others. THANKS!

I like Hurst. It helped me the most. Remember that you will be taking a "safety" test. That is your goal, to be safe and ready for practice. I would assume that there is a rationale for why Nursing students study their brains out (to some extent) before boards. You will get back what you put into it. Study when you can and make sure that the time you spend studying is productive. Take your study material with you wherever you go and that will give you an advantage to capitalize on these "productive" opportunities. If there was ever a time to put 100% into your studying, that time is NOW. Good luck!

If you spend your time studying (read: reviewing content) then the odds are you may not do very well on the NCLEX as it doesn't generally test your knowledge as much as it tests your ability to compile information and critically apply it.
