Long distance marriage while in CRNA school

Becoming a CRNA has been a dream of mine. I have finally been accepted, and as I get older, I'm beginning to feel like it's now or never. My wife has a business and will not be able to move across the country with me, at least for the time being. She tells me if she were in my shoes, she would most definitely accept the spot. Our plan is for her to fly out every other month or so.

Another concern is that if she moves to a different state, and I'm busy with school, she will be lonely/away from her family while I'm stuck studying.

Anyone else do this and have their marriage/relationship survive?

My husband and I were long-distance during my BSN program, and we survived. I know that's not exactly the rigor of a CRNA program, but it's doable if both parties are in it together. Just get a webcam or Skype, and dedicate some time to catch up on each other's lives nightly or as often as you can. :)
