Hello All
Does anyone know if Stony Brook online FNP program is part-time? meaning just taking 1-2 classes a semester. I am thinking or applying but I would like to go at a slower pace, since I a full time working mom of 2 under 2yrs. Also how often do we have to go on campus? Are there any other part-time online FNP schools for NY?
Thank You in Advance ?

Hello! Yes there is a part time track. I think it is around 3 years. I know a few coworkers who have done the PNP program while working full time with little babes and they said they got through the program fine. I applied to the FNP program but have not heard anything yet.
Yes, when I emailed them to inquire about the program, they gave me the course outline and it’s part time 6 credits per semester, I applied also and haven’t heard anything, but I see they have been doing interviews already so I’m a tad bit discouraged, this is the only online program offered in NY. It’s difficult to be dedicated to a classroom.
Oh that’s good to know! Don’t be discouraged! I only know of 1 person that received an email for an interview (the one from the other board). Finding a school in NY that is accredited and approved by NY is absurd.
