Starting psychiatric registered nursing salary in Florida

I am a current student attending a state college but Ive been getting mixed messages about what a starting salary for a registered nurse/psychiatric registered nurse would be for a Floridian preferably in Boca Raton. Ive been looking strictly for a starting hourly wage since there are different ways to calculate your annual income depending on how many hours you work and what time of day you work. Any specific information would be greatly appreciated.

Also my final goal is to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner and i have been hearing by 2015 you would need a doctorate degree instead of a masters to qualify for the position. This is personally a factor since id be potentially done with my master around 2015-2016. Is there any truth to this statement? And would it apply to me even after i earned my MSN?
